General Manager/Sales
Laura Gannon
Laura has been in the floor covering business for over 30 years, most of which she has spent in management. She began her career in a small hometown flooring shop in Tennessee. Because of her hard work and attention to detail, she gradually worked her way into larger businesses. Due to her many years of experience, she is an invaluable team member at WFS. There isn’t a question about flooring that she doesn’t have the answer to!
She has been employed by The Wood Floor Store LLC since 2004. Laura’s duties include sales, managing installation and overseeing the daily operations of the store. Laura loves the experience of working one on one with you and helping make your dreams for your home a reality.
She has been married to The Wood Floor Store LLC warehouse manager, Virgil, since 2001.
Senior Sales/Interior Design
Cassie Wallin
Cassie started at The Wood Floor Store LLC in 2006 as an interior design intern with the University of North Alabama. Once she completed her bachelor’s degree, she came to work full-time as a kitchen/bath sales and design consultant. Over the years her duties have evolved with the company's needs, transitioning from cabinets and countertops over to flooring.
Cassie specializes in all aspects of design and loves helping you make the best choices for your home and circumstances. Her duties include job site inspections, estimating, ordering, and training sales staff.
She and her husband, Jared, have a son, Riley, who keeps them busy when not in the office.

Kasey

Tala
Tala has been with us since 2021 and has been a true asset to the business. She has a vast background that makes her very detailed. She finished her interior design degree in May of 2021 and carries a Kitchen and Bath Certification under her belt. She is very personable and has a great eye.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, crafts, natural building and spending time with her daughter, Willow.
Wholesale Manager
Steven
Steven came to The Wood Floor Store LLC in 2007 with the heavy task of developing a wholesale division and private label brand. His enthusiasm for the job and dedication to task helped bring WFS Wholesale to life in a big way. Today our private label brand is available in retailers all over the southeast, and he believes the sky is our only limit!
Steven says he loves coming to work every day, and his ultimate goal is to help our retailers grow their businesses as we grow our own.
Wholesale Customer Service
Jennifer Wood
Jennifer joined our wholesale division in 2018. She assists Steven with processing orders, setting up shipments and assisting wholesale customers with any questions they may have.
Jennifer lives in Florence with her husband, son, and daughter.

Natalie Herren
Natalie joined our wholesale team in 2023. Her duties include processing orders, setting up shipments and assisting our wholesale customers with any questions they may have.
She stays busy outside of work with her husband and two girls, Rylee and Kynidi.
Warehouse Manager
Virgil Gannon
Since 2004, Virgil has been the warehouse manager and resident handyman. In addition to overseeing deliveries, managing inventory and tending to general property maintenance, you may also see him on the showroom floor assisting customers with sales and products.
Virgil proudly served in the National Guard for eight years, and he has been married to our general manager, Laura, since 2001.
His Pocket Bully, Dallas, is a constant fixture in the office.
Warehouse Associates
Stan Reeves
Stan began his career in flooring in 2002 as an installer. Over time, the store grew and so did our needs. Stan came on in 2013 to work directly on contractor projects and assist them personally with their needs. In addition to this, his background in installation makes him a valuable team member for overseeing and assisting our installation crews.
Stan lives in Waynesboro with his wife and children. His lab, Wren, joins him regularly at work.

Nick lives in Florence with his wife and daughter and would be happy to talk sports with you.
Osvaldo is our most recent addition to the warehouse team. He and his wife just recently welcomed their first little boy.

These girls spend their days napping and being loved on by the entire staff.
Dallas is a Pocket Bully packed with energy. When she isn't here at the store you can find her riding around with her owner, Virgil, making deliveries.
Wren, a chocolate Lab, is Stan's sidekick. She enjoys duck hunting and being the family dog to the Reeves family.
